In recent years, I’ve come to realize that prolonged periods of observing light and focusing on such phenomena bring me profound tranquility and an oddly exhilarating sensation. Unfortunately, my “normal” busy days seldom allow me the time for this pursuit.
When the pandemic and self-isolation emerged, our world came to a sudden halt, and everything changed in the blink of an eye. Initially, I felt extreme distress and fear, and the first weeks were a rollercoaster of emotions. Little did I anticipate that this situation could have a positive impact on my personal life and my creative work.
During these turbulent times, I gradually began to recognize that this situation was teaching me valuable lessons by unveiling the significance of things I had overlooked in recent years. The world around me slowed down, and I started to perceive and cherish the everyday wonders and details in this extraordinary state. My objective is to capture these experiences through my photography and carry them with me as mementos, ensuring that I will always remember the emotions I experienced during the lockdown.
